Recommendations from the European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer (ECIBC) for multigene testing
In the EU, including UK, 404,920 women were diagnosed with breast cancer (BC) and 98,755 died in 2018 (ECIS 2018).
As BC outcomes differ across Europe, the ECIBC aimed to develop adaptable recommendations on BC prevention and diagnosis and a quality assurance scheme applicable throughout Europe.
