Past President of the AACR and dear friend, Waun Ki Hong, dies

We are very saddened by the news of Dr. Waun Ki Hong's death.

He was not only a great scientist and former president of AACR, he was dear friend to The Hormel Institute and Dr. Dong and myself. He was also a member of The Hormel Institute's International Scientific Advisory Board and we had hoped to see him at our annual meeting in February. He was truly a kind individual and a true gentleman. We are thinking of his family and send our sincere condolences--he will be greatly missed.
