The research interests of Pashtoon M. Kasi, M.D., M.S. are in gastrointestinal cancers with a primary focus on colorectal cancers and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) testing or "liquid biopsies". He is also actively involved at the University of Iowa in leading and opening clinical trials involving novel therapeutics and phase-1 studies. He also serves as the Co-PI for the GI Molecular Epidemiology Research Core (GI-MERC) at the University of Iowa.
