Communications Biology turns 5!

As Communications Biology turns 5 this month, we celebrate our amazing Editorial Board, who take as much pride in the journal as our In-House team. In this video we hear from some of our Section Leads about how being a Board Member helps them and why they think the journal stands out.

At Communications Biology, we have a hybrid model in which some of our papers are handled in-house and some are handled in close collaboration with our editorial board. This gives us the best of both worlds and means that our journal is partly shaped by active researchers and the needs of their communities.

In 2022, we launched the role of Section Leads. Our Section Leads help to train other board members and take a more active role in shaping our content and outreach. Some have been with us since the start in 2018 and continue to make an impact today.

In this video, in honour of our 5 year anniversary, we hear from some of our Section Leads about why they joined the journal, how it has helped them over the years and why Communications Biology stands out for them.

If you are interested in joining our journal on the next leg of our amazing journey, feel free to fill in this form for the opportunity to discuss this further..
